To promote and protect in every way the subgroup of gundogs known as the breeds which Hunt, Point and Retrieve.

To meet its breed standards and to fulfil their roles as working gundogs.

To support breeding stock which is sound in mind and body.

To present a united voice on HPR matters to the dog world, our governing bodies and all interested parties.
